This project consisted of a new 155,448 SF Pre-K through 6th grade school constructed at the intersection of Union Avenue and Huntington Road in Crescent City, Florida for the Putnam County School District.
There are three main single-story buildings (connected) as well as a new separate indoor gymnasium, outdoor play covered area and outdoor courts. The facility includes an administrative wing, media center, and cafeteria as well as classrooms for 1,166 student stations.
The structure is primarily CMU Masonry and the roofs are rigid insulation and standing seam roofing over steel joists and metal deck. Retention ponds were provided for storm-water management and site improvements include parent and faculty parking lots and a bus loop as well as landscaping.
